Account and data deletion
You can request deletion of your Convoy account and associated personal data at any time.
How to request deletion
If you can access the app, open Convoy Settings and choose Delete account. This starts the in-app deletion flow for your account and associated data.
- If you cannot access the app, email hello@tryconvoy.app from the email associated with your Convoy account.
- Use the subject line “Convoy data deletion”.
- Include your Convoy handle and any sign-in details needed for us to identify the account.
What we delete
Deletion generally covers your account profile, friendships, groups and convoys you own where applicable, vehicles, vehicle photos, saved settings, Safe Zones, contact-discovery lookup hashes, trip summaries, trip path data, and personal location data associated with your account.
What may be retained
We may retain limited records where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, backups, or operational logs. Backup copies may take additional time to expire.
Timing
We aim to respond to deletion requests within a reasonable time. If we need more information to verify the account, we will reply to the email you used to contact us.
